Sudhanshu Sekhar Kar spent more than five decades giving form to India's historical imagination — sculpting in stone and clay, painting in the traditional Pattachitra and folk idioms of Odisha, and teaching a generation of artists to look closely at what came before.
This site is maintained by his family as a living archive of his work, so that the figures he carved and the stories he painted continue to speak.
